  • Air Jordan IX Johnny Kilroy

Nike has always been one of my inspirations.  I admired the brand both athletically and creatively.  Some may remember with the release of the Air Jordan IX, Nike’s creation of the character Johnny Kilroy.  Well, Nike has decided to bring Kilroy back with the re-release of several variations of the Air Jordan IX.  The first of […]

Double Play There's no denying that Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson are the best two sport athletes, EVER! The things these two were able to do in football and baseball was nothing short of spectacular. These two not only had the ability to compete in both the NFL and MLB, but also excelled. One might say they were both better football than baseball players. But, when you consider that hitting a baseball is the toughest skill in sports and these two spent their off-season on the football field, you may find new respect for what they were able to accomplish. They were also very successful pitchman for Nike. Check out visuals of their commercials and highlights below.

Sort of a re-post, but I think the ending to the movie Ali is one of the most inspirational ever.  Life’s challenges are endless.  Even when you feel like you’ve been backed into the ropes, never give up and stay in the fight! “Can’t let you get that second wind which you don’t even […]

Branding.  It is one of the most important concepts we all should grasp and understand.  We must seek to create and protect our own brand.  Not as it relates to clothing, shoes, or any product for that matter.   But, how we are viewed by others in the world.  Before Lebron James ever entered the […]
  • Fail To Succeed

No one likes to fail.  Nor am I advocating failure.  But, it’s that very failure that can lead to your success.  The biggest failure one could ever commit is not even trying due to fearing failure.  The key is to learn from your mistakes and turn them into successes.  Always give your all and if you […]

With the start of football season, I can’t help but reminisce of some great memories.  And although I enjoyed playing organized sports growing up, it is the weekend football, basketball, and baseball games I miss the most.  There was nothing better than getting together with friends and playing ALL day long.  No matter what sport we […]

  • Sunday Inspiration – Michael Jordan

With this being Sunday, some (hopefully most) may be fresh out of church after receiving the word and inspiration of the week.  Well, let me add to that inspiration. With the lost of Game 6 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, The Cleveland Cavaliers and Lebron James are out of the playoffs.  This elimination eradicated many dreams of what many hoped would be the first Lebron-Kobe Finals match-up.  Now, for the next couple of weeks and months we will all have to endure the media’s […]
